Authentic, mindful, sustainable. That's how you could briefly describe Tillga Glück. And yet there is still one very important, crucial word missing. Special could be just the right word. And with a very special connection to happiness.

When Katrin and Hannes acquired the beautiful property at the end of 2019, they were overjoyed with their conscious decision. This strong feeling ultimately determined not only the name "Tillga Glück" (Tillga Happiness), but also the entire concept of the house, namely to create a place of happiness, for beautiful togetherness, for truly special, consciously experienced moments.

The "Tillga" – colloquial term for "Obertilliach" – strongly links the house with its surroundings: lush green forests all around, majestic mountains and an idyllic setting, untouched and raw, the likes of which are rarely found today. Even the journey there is a relaxing experience, not to mention the energy you feel once you arrive. And "happiness" describes a feeling that you can feel deep inside. A state of contentment. When you are happy, you feel good and enjoy life. And it is precisely this joy that Katrin and Hannes bring to your holiday. The joy of a delicious breakfast with all kinds of delicacies sourced locally, a beautiful hike, a warm "good morning" or a pleasant conversation with the people in the village. Very often, it's the little moments that make you happy. You just have to recognise them, and that's exactly what Tillga Glück has set out to do.

A fine glass of wine at sunset, gazing at the sparkling starry sky. A game of Ludo with your loved ones, a cosy rocking chair and a good book. The gong signalling an afternoon of Wi-Fi-free time as inspiration to put your mobile phone away, an exciting audio tour right through the village. Or when Hannes spontaneously picks up his accordion and plays a few of his tunes. And then there was something about a little bag for – oh, just experience it, feel it, sense it for yourself!

For us, happiness also means consciously looking ahead.

Ahead, to a future worth living. So that our children and grandchildren can enjoy our beautiful world just as much as we do. And we are committed to this with various conscious measures.

We pay attention to regionality and to minimising cycles. We obtain much of our produce directly from the local farmer or from small nearby producers. And we think you can taste it!

We harness the power of the sun to help heat water for the whole establishment.

We also rely on the power of nature for the cosmetics in your rooms and we use refillable bottles made by the Unterweger company of Assling instead of disposable plastic.
