Having to sit down at your table every evening at 7 o’clock sharp and stuff yourself with four, five or even six courses is not always an ideal holiday experience. And, let's be honest, it would not be possible to squeeze all the variety that our little village has to offer onto one menu!
The Gasthaus Unterwöger serves delicious Schlutzkrapfen – stuffed pasta pockets, an East Tyrolean speciality that you simply have to try – while the Hotel Weiler treats its guests to an exquisite selection of regional dishes, and the stone oven of the Pizzeria Weberstube produces the most Italian pizza in all East Tyrol.
Those who particularly like fine dining should definitely pay a visit to our neighbours, the Almfamilyhotel Scherer, because the cuisine there meets gourmet standards.
You can choose from a total of five restaurants and wonderfully typical eateries for appetites both large and small – all right here in the village. No two days are the same, and it's not the chef who decides what’s on your plate, but you yourself. Not only what – but also when and if, as maybe you’d really like to eat up at a mountain hut where you can simply enjoy a hearty cold platter or delicious Kaiserschmarren (shredded sweet pancakes) as the sun sets – definitely worth trying up at the Porze hut!
We have plenty of tips and recommendations to offer and, if you like, we can book you a table to go with our recommendation – even one with a four- or five-course menu, for those who would prefer the classic half-board fare. Just let us know and we'll be happy to help, because you can't just turn up at every restaurant!
And, for those who prefer to cook for themselves – now and then, or maybe just at lunchtime or only in the evenings – our apartments [Link] with their smart kitchenettes plus all the extras are the ideal choice! There are also two grocery shops in our village, both within walking distance.

There is the Tillga soup pot, which you can easily order – directly to your apartment should you wish. In summer, Grandma Ida bakes one of her delicious cakes for us fresh each day – the perfect accompaniment to a good cup of coffee in our Glücks-Bar & Lounge, in the sun on the terrace with views of the green surroundings!
In the evening, coffee is swapped for a glass of fine wine or one of our East Tyrolean cocktail variations from Kuenz. Cheers – here’s to your holiday!
