The whiteness beckons – and rightly so, we say, because there is so much to discover here! And, when the piste is located right next to the hotel and the cross-country ski trail also starts directly from here, it all naturally has its own special charm – a dream in white for everyone! Because, on top of all that, Obertilliach is considered one of the most snow-sure areas thanks to its geographical location and altitude of just under 1,500 metres!
Ski-in & ski-out
Skiing and cross-country skiing, right on the doorstep! With a heated ski depot, ski pass and cross-country ski pass service – and even easy-to-book ski courses, because the ski school and its meeting point are right next door.
Delightful ski area
A small, cosy ski area right under your nose with five lifts and nine pistes totalling over 15 km, including a children’s area and a ski kindergarten. Perfect also for beginners, skiers returning to the sport and families.
A cross-country dream
A looooong cross-country season that usually starts in mid-November and lasts well into April.
The Fiolrunde, the Gailrunde and the Schwalenrunde are just some of the trail names: with the interactive cross-country ski trail map you can keep track of them all!
Tobogganing
Walk up the mountain or, if you prefer a more comfortable trip, take the gondola: a whole 7 km of downhill fun awaits!
Gently on foot
Whether for a fantastic snowshoe tour or a leisurely winter walk, the unspoilt landscape rewards you anew each time!

Cross-country ski adventures
Whether classic, skating or biathlon – cross-country skiing is part of Obertilliach as snow is to winter. It is not only the best athletes in Nordic sports who feel at home here – amateur cross-country skiers and beginners are also welcome, not least because of the snow-sure location and perfectly prepared cross-country trails!
Gliding through the snow-covered winter landscape amidst the magnificent mountain scenery of East Tyrol – pure winter bliss. Then go directly from the cross-country ski trail to your cosy suite or apartment: swap your cross-country ski outfit for a bathrobe and it’s off to the sauna!
