Blessed by Ms. Holle and with the support of a snowmaking system, training will begin in mid-November in the snow-sure cross-country and biathlon center in Obertilliach. A cross-country trail network of over 400 km is available throughout East Tyrol - for all different skill levels.
Cross-country trail: Grenzlandloipe
One of the most beautiful trails is the 60 km long Grenzlandloipe, which connects the Tyrolean Gailtal with the Lesachtal (East Tyrol) and Carinthia. The wonderful panoramic trail leads from Kartitsch over the 1,525 meter high Kartitscher saddle on snow-covered meadows and through glittering forests to Obertilliach and further to Untertilliach.
